Research Institutes & NGOs

Ocean Alliance Conservation Member (OACM) strategic partnership with research institutes and NGOs in ocean preservation field will be officially presented at the main panel and opening ceremony of the Plastic Ocean Summit. In order to create and develop new sustainable solutions, OACM is working with some of the world's leading organizations while constantly exploring new methods of fighting the plastic pollution – starting with physical extraction from the oceans to presenting new substitute eco-friendly materials instead of plastic. New monitoring and surveillance technology - for the quality and maintenance of CSMAs - is being developed together with technological research institutes. In OG Exhibition Hall, POS will also include a promotion corner for research institutes and NGOs.
