POS will host more than 70 governments and their officials (from the environmental field) from every continent, together with representatives from the tourism industry sector. OACM development and direct collaboration with governmental infrastructure have made OACM group the most efficient global organization in the field of ocean protection and preservation, and extraction of plastic from the oceans — creation of White Flag CSMA zones. Plastic Ocean Summit will strengthen this collaboration and recruit new countries to OACM group, to join forces in fighting the ocean plastic pollution and to develop new sustainable ocean solutions. Governments represent official Plastic Ocean Summit partners and OACM members. During the summit, OACM will officially expand and sign new partnerships with governments and leading global corporations for expansion of White Flag CSMAs. Ministers and other high-level officials will have their own promo desks at the OG Exhibition Hall where they can be approached and where bilateral meetings can be organized.
