OACM is in the process of creating White Flag Certified Safe Marine Areas (CSMAs) - plastic-free zones and sea beds - in cities around the world that are under protection listed as UNESCO world heritage. During the summit, OACM will present the Micro and Macro CSMA cities under the UNESCO world heritage list and screen an illustrated promotional 10-minute movie about the process of underwater cleanup and the White Flag certification process. OACM aims to establish a stronger collaboration with UNESCO to expand the White Flags CSMAs within UNESCO conservancy program by establishing new guidelines in preventing the pollution around heritage cities' sea, lake or river areas using the OACM SOS conservancy program (White Flag certification process).
