During the Plastic Ocean Summit, OACM will officially present a new exclusively developed GEPN monitor (Global Environment Promotion Network). GEPN is the world's first digital environmental promotion network that has been in use since last year in OACM countries promoting their Certified Safe Marine Areas (CSMAs) and countries' tourist attractions. This powerful and unique tool is placed mostly at national and international airports welcoming people and tourists into OACM countries, displaying where they can find the White Flag CSMAs for recreation and leisure. GEPN monitor communicates governmental efforts and initiatives that they are undertaking for protecting and preserving marine areas and raising awareness in the environmental field. GEPN monitor will be introduced to all OACM member countries, and OACM officials will present its future development plan and communication platform during the summit.
