Extracted Ocean Marine Debris (EOMD) scale represents another concept that will be exclusively launched during the Plastic Ocean Summit. WhiteFlag International Research & Development department has been trying to find a solution for years on how to keep track of the extracted marine debris and plastic being pulled out of the oceans, lakes and rivers. EOMD scale will function as an Ocean Balance Indicator providing us with precise information on how effective our initiative of extracting the plastic is and how we can improve our efficiency with time and experience. The system behind the EOMD scale will be officially presented during the summit, along with the technical background. EOMD national scale will keep track of how much debris (in weight) is being extracted from the oceans, while the global EOMD scale keeps track for all OACM countries summed up.
We are delighted to have Your contribution and presence at the first edition of the Plastic Ocean Summit where Your organization can present sustainable projects that can make a contribution or can be implemented by OACM globally to protect, preserve and clean our oceans, lakes and rivers.
